    Achē Magazine...was the birth child of Lisbet Tellefsen and Pippa Fleming

    •  Achē Magazine...was the birth child of Lisbet Tellefsen and Pippa Fleming
    •  Achē first appeared on the lesbian scene during Black History Month in 1989.
    • Lisbet and Pippa were clear, Achē was to be created by and about Black lesbians.
    • Each cover featured a Black lesbians art work or image.
    • We believed in our stories, shared interests and struggles.
    • Achē celebrated the sensuality and sexuality of Black lesbian love and erotica.
    •  Achē forged powerful alliances with activists and writers like Audre Lorde.
    • Black lesbians from all walks of life praised the magazine.
    •  Achē had a vision: celebrate our diversity and authenticity.
    • The Achē Project also produced events. The Drag King show was a crowd favorite.
    •  Achē collaborated with many Bay area womens event promoters like Chili D.
    • Pippa's DaddiGirl Productions produced several memorable events with Achē.
    • We weren't afraid to celebrate the skins we were in!
    •  Achē produced events that celebrated our erotic power.
    •  The Achē project promoted our Black gay brother's artistry and talent.
    •  Achē magazine was an international publication that reaached thousands...we worked together.
    • Audre Lorde supported our work and was a mentor.
    •     Achē confronted cross-cultural issues others left off of the menu.

    I began studying theater while attending Classical High School in Springfield, MA.

    • I began studying theater while attending Classical High School in Springfield, MA.
    • I started competing in drama festivals in 1981 when I played a British doctor in the production of Ernie's Incredible Illucinations.
    • Laney College Theater Program.
    • I thoroughly enjoyed working with Amara Tabor Smith's production of EarthBodyHome .
    • Amara T. Smith's Our Daily Bread served food to its audience throughout the show.
    • Our Daily Bread premiered at CounterPulse Theater in San Francisco. The productions innovation got rave reviews in the SF Chronicle.
    • A benefit show for the Bay Area Lesbian Archives Project.
    • I was a Theater Coordinatior and actor for Luna Sea Women's Theater in San Francisco.
    • On A Butch Tip told the stories of  Black butch lesbians.
    • I studied  performance art with Andrea Hairston at Chrysalis Theater in Northampton, MA.
    • Queer Rebels of the Harlem Renaissance San Francisco
    •  Solo performance at the Butch Voices Conference in Oakland, CA 2009

    Grace Villarin Duenas and I launched The Endangered Species Project producing a live town hall event and meeting that addressed the War on Terror.

    • How does the war on terror impact society, institutions and people?
    • I appeared in Debra Wilson's Butch Mystique, a documentary about Black butch lesabians that premiered on Showtime.
    • I produced filmaker Alrick Riley's black and white slilent  film "Money Talks".
    • Grace Villarin Duenas and I produced  and directed Voices of Sovereignty a documentary addressing the Hawaiian stuggle for independence.
